Presenting the award, Mr Kentaro Kato, Honda's managing director, said that Harboro Rubber has been of great assistance to Honda. When another rubber component manufacturer failed to supply, the company had taken on new work in very short timescales without any drop in quality or delivery standards.
Honda personnel who had visited the factory said they had been deeply impressed by the helpfulness, openness and commitment to quality of the shop floor staff at Harboro Rubber.
