Early involvement reduces costs
"Our involvement right from the start has resulted in a design that meets the customer's needs but is easy to manufacture," said Terry Heeley of Harboro's VTM team. "That makes the component more cost-effective.
"As our customers realise the benefits, we are getting more and more involved with the end user. For this project, we went onto Jaguar's production line to test the prototypes and later worked with the Jaguar operatives to prove the fit of the whole assembly."
