The Problem

When Jaguar asked Amp, one of its cable assembly suppliers, to incorporate a protective terminal cover on the assembly for the X100 starter motor, Amp thought of Harboro Rubber.

For a number of reasons, including aesthetics and cost, Jaguar wanted to replace the two seperate terminal protectors on the motor with a single insulative cover.

"We're not experts in rubber mouldings," said John Giorgio of Amp. "Jaguar had used Harboro before, and the company was already our preferred supplier, so we decided to bring them in directly."
